NETWORK DESIGN
Netixo help our partners to successfully design and implement a variety of advanced communication networks. Our specialised processes include Desktop OSP for a variety of advanced fiber optic network designs including FTTH and FTTP using GPON and other technologies.

As part of the network design element high and low level design technical documentation is provided:

-
High Level Design
High Level Design (HLD) highlights the general system design providing the developer with a description of all the network design modules and parts including architecture, database design, platforms, systems and data flows. Providing the client and the auditors with sufficient information to assess and audit the design in order to meet any external requirements that are affected by the design such as resilience, redundancy and service levels.

-
Low Level Design
Low Level Design (LLD) is the component-level design process and provides the step-by-step refinement process of the network design. The LLD details the HLD and defines the actual logic for each component of the solution. Detailed network security functional diagrams are also provided with the methods used and the relationship between each logic. Technical specifications are covered under the LLD with direct references to the HLD.
The LLD also provides engineering level understanding between Netixo and client teams of the specific technical elements of the design, specification and inter-relationship including fiber paths, port and fiber interconnection, optics and distances, IP and VLAN assignments.
Both the LLD and HLD reference other specific and detailed supporting documents needed to clarify understanding related to their level of the design for the project.
